| This is more like it. Space battles, characterisation, and a tale of revenge keeps the Star Trek franchise alive. Ricardo Montleban, he of the slightly odd name, take centre stage as the villain of the piece, beautifully portraying his story. You can almost sympathise with him. The battle sequences, while primitive by today's standards, are still quite impressive nonetheless. In compensation for the previous films bland characters, this film put it's players through a lot, allowing their characters to really surface, so there's never a dull moment. The musical score is tremendously good, and complements the on-screen action brilliantly. | ||
