Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)
Review by Glenn Burgess
Normally, in Trek, Kirk is portrayed as a fairly heroic, invincible fighter-for-the-right, but this film takes it too far. It basically pits Kirk against the closest thing to God yet found in the galaxy. And guess who comes up smelling of roses? Also, the special effects, while not unbelievable, are fairly atrocious by Trek standards.
