Dragon & Knight





























General Rules
Dragon and Knight begin on opposite sides of the last ring of the circle, on a clear square.
Knight moves first.

Cards
Cards must be discarded after use.
You may only hold 1 card at a time.
When drawing a new card, you must discard the old one.
Only 1 card may be used on a turn.

Playing
On your turn you must move, and then you may do any 2 of the following actions:

  • Draw a card
  • Play a card
  • Attack

It takes 1 turn to recover from attacking your opponent. This means that you must wait a turn before you may attack again.

Card Deck:
6 each of diamond, emerald, ruby, garnet, sapphire
5 of opal
2 of fire opal
13 of coal


Knight
HP: 15
Lance

Damage: 5
Use: lance attack can only be used when moving towards the Dragon
the lance can attack from any space adjacent to the Dragon
Sword
Damage: 4
Use: the sword can only be used when sharing a space with the Dragon
Gem Effects:
Ruby: heals 3 points worth of HP.
Garnet: gives basic fire resist. Fire damage reduced by half.
Diamond: adds 2 points of damage to lance or sword attack.
Sapphire: take an extra turn. May be used immediately.
Emerald: poison. Dragon loses 1 HP for the next 3 turns or until healing.
Opal: chose any of the above effects.
Fire Opal: immunity to fire. No damage is taken from fire attacks.
Coal: will explode in attack, causing 8 points worth of damage to anyone on the same square, and 6 points of damage on adjacent squares.

Dragon
HP: 20
Flame

Damage: 4
Use: fire can attack from any space adjacent to the Knight
Claws
Damage: 3
Use: claws can only be used when sharing a space with the Knight

Gem Effects:
Ruby: adds 2 points of damage to flame attacks.
Garnet: increases length of flame allowing it to reach across extra space.
Diamond: adds 2 points of damage to claw attacks.
Sapphire: take an extra turn. May be used immediately.
Emerald: poison claws. Knight loses 1 HP for the next 3 turns or healing.
Opal: chose any of the above effects.
Fire Opal: full heal.
Coal: will explode in attack, causing 8 points worth of damage to anyone on the same square, and 6 points of damage on adjacent squares.
