How the rose does bleed!!!

Bleeding Roses

Visions of night wrap her in velvet
Bathed in moonlight's palest beams
Demons flee dawn's lazy approach
And so ends such fragile dreams
For clutched in her dying hand
Bathed in her life's blood
Love's bleeding rose

Snow falls softly gently covering
Her eerie fallen silent beauty
Staining pink the satin snowdrifts
The crimson tide of faithful duty
And around her flowing hair
Entwined like loving fingers
Love's circle of thorns

Drained of life the shell remains
A testament to love's blindness
Virginty defiled with evil's lust
Bouquet of barbed wire's kindness
And spilling from her mouth
Emptying her broken heart
Love's last breath
