So Sweet the Final Slumber

Dead souls dance in eternity's sleep

Rock me to sleep, let me die in your arms
Cover my face with death's sweet charms
Take all my tears and weave me a shroud
Bury my soul deep where it can't be found

Hold me close let me breathe no more
I am sick of fighting love's losing war
Comfort me with posion's stolen kiss
Soothe life's rape of my soul's innocence

Lay me down in cold marble halls
Lock me behind death's dark walls
Silence my heart with your icy grip
Gouge out hope with your fingertips

Leave me in silence forever afraid
Entombed with grief misery has made
Wracked with regret,a burning confusion
Feeble mortality revealed as illusion
