One Little Indian

Cast:

Notes:

You can have an indian too, but he's really not needed.

The scene: Imaginary camp in the old west. A Scout is over to one side, looking out. A Captain is standing near the other side.

The Scout runs over to the captian and shouts:

Scout: Captain, Captian, there's an Indian comming! Should I shoot him?

Captain: How far off is he?

Scout: Well, he's about this big.

The scout holds his hands a few inches apart

Captain: Come back and tell me when he gets closer.

The scout runs back across the stage and looks out again. After a brief pause, he runs to the Captain.

Scout: Captain, Captian, he's this big!

The scout holds his hands about a foot apart.

Captain: Come back when he's closer.

The scout runs back across the stage and looks out again. he pauses and runs back to the Captain.

Scout: Captain, Captain, he's this big!

The scout holds his hands about two feet apart.

Captain: Come back and tell me when he's closer.

The scout goes back to his post. He pauses and then runs over to the Captain again.

Scout: Captain, Captain, he's this big!

The scout holds his hands as far apart as he can get them.

Captain: Come back when he's a closer.

The scout runs back to his post, only to turn around immediately and run back to the Captain.

Scout: Captain, Captain, he's here!

Captain: Well, shoot him, then!

Scout: I can't shoot him, I've known him since he was this big!
