Black Mage OCC Black Mage OCC:

by Jan Knoell

This character class originates in the mountains of Sweden. Their order is perhaps the oldest existing order of mages on Earth. They are known as the Black Mages due to occurances in the Dark Ages. At that time Christianity was in full bloom and magic was known quite simply as the "Black Arts", therefore, being persecuted all over Europe, they fled to the artic reaches, where they banded together under the common banner of The Black Mages. Unlike Wiccan Witches of the time, they had no fear of using their magics to effect people.
