These explosive devices are shaped to look and function as an explosive throwing star. They only weigh about six ounces, but retain the explosive force of a plasma gernade, although a bit more focased. There are two red buttons one on either side that must be pushed at the very same time that activates the trigger, at which time as soon as 2lbs of force pushes on one of the four points, detonation occurs.

Maximum Effective Range: About 30' Normally, but a person with Archery and Targeting, may add the 20' per level bonus to the range.
Market Cost: 800 credits per star. This is the bane of CS ground forces. The minilet pack is a box about the size of a shoebox that contains 50 half dollar size explosive discs, and a three button digital control (One for raising the number of minilets to be released, one for lowering the number, and one for clearing the screen.) operated by an E-clip on top of the box itself. Once programmed the appropriate number of miniature doors on the box will open and begin to push the minilets out of their doors, with an appropriate equasion of walking distance and timing displayed to release the number of minilets in their most efficient mode. WARNING! Only walk backwards in a direct line or in a backward moving grid like pattern, while in the dispensing process. They are all clear in color, and very difficult to spot. The real nasty of this device is that all of the explosives that are released will detonate when only one of the discs are set off. (Any impact with more than 20Lbs of force will detonate the disc, due to the chemical compound within. Also any explosion within 200' of the dispensed minilets will detonate them as well, those inside the box are unaffected, unless the box itself is targetted and struck for more than 30 accumulative MDC.)
Weight: 10 Lbs for the whole box. (About 2 oz per disk, plus the control panel and distribution ports within the box, raise the total weight.
Mega-Damage: 4D6MD per disk (5' area blast per disk.)! The chemical nature of the disks allow them only to detonate under pressure! However the pressure from one exploding will detonate the entire bunch released!
Maximum Effective Range: The MEP listed here can only drop them out, with no driving force behind it. There are some vehicle mounted versions that do have a range of 150' (See S-Mart's Power Armor.)
