The Banshee is another vectored thrust hover craft, but unlike the Le Baron, the Banshee was designed specifically as a military hover jeep, by an Argentinan military designer, in the mid 2030s. The US military began using the Banshee about ten years after it's original conception. It looks like a vehicle with a boats hull, with a windscreen to the fore, four doors, with windows that roll up and down, and a mega-damage mesh canopy. It's propulsion is made up of two vectored directional thrusters on either side of the bottom of the hovercraft. They are often used by Desert Star's military, and are available openly to mercenaries and other nations, as well as to civilians, even though it comes standard with a pair of pulse lasers on the hood of the hovercraft. * The inhabitants of the Banshee are extremely difficult to hit due to added cover of the Windscreen and body of the Hover Car, therefore, all attacks made against the inhabitants are only done so at a -5 to strike.
** Directional Thrusters are comparitively small and difficult to hit, so therefore all attacks made against them are only done so at a -3 to strike. Also, if two thrusters are destroyed, the hover car looses it's lift, and will fall at a rate of 20' a melee.
