TWO LIZARDS

The moon, pale yellow

as it moved behind a cloud

beginning to set

seemed to watch Taurus,

the bull, while it

hung still above it.

But on that night,

21st of December,

two lizards, their skin

glowing in the dark,

as if they were blushing

hardly seemed to notice.

They just sat together

on the rooftop,

despite the cold,

watching each other too.
