Course Outline

Introduction to COOL School courses:

We hope you see great success in this Cool School course. As part of ensuring your success, we have a few things to point out in this introductory unit. If you are new to COOL School courses, be sure to read the introductory material provided. You will be required to write a quiz (first quiz found in the quiz area) showing understanding some of the expectations in this course. You can redo this quiz up to three times attempting the required 100%. If you don't get the 100% within your three tries, you will be required to arrange a meeting with your instructor to discuss your difficulties.

Ensure that you have regular access to a graphing calculator

Calculator suggestions: TI-83 or TI-83plus

 

Computer Requirements:

This course requires:

Browser Explorer 6+ or Netscape 6+
Internet Cable or ADSL strongly recommended / 56k a minimum
Plug-in's Adobe Reader 5+, Shockwave 6+

Your grade for this course will be calculated as follows:

Module 1 Exam
10 %
Module 2 Exam
15 %
Module 3 Exam
25 %

Unit grades include unit quizzes, unit summaries, and unit projects.

Module exams include material from ANY part of the course material that falls prior to the module exam. Module exams are invigilated exams that are arranged with your instructor.

Communication:
