Pictures of Baisakhi '99 Keertan at Bhavdeep Singh's!

Bhai Bhavdeep Singh believes that Gurpurab's like Baisakhee should be celebrated on the day they occur. For several years now, he has requested his friends to take the day off as a religious festival (just as Christians take a holiday on Christmas day, Easter etc.) and gather at his house for Keertan and celebrations. As a result of his persistent love and persuasion hundreds of Sikh professionals in the New York, New Jersey and surrounding areas take the day off and gather at his residence to attend keertan on every Baisakhee day. May Guru ji bless him and his family with sikhee sidak, bharosa, naam rang, gursikhee pyaar and chardee kalaa!

Bhavdeep Singh is a VP of Human Resourses with A&P and lives with his wife, Manbeen Kaur, and two children in New York. He also helps his father, Dr. Ujjagar Singh ji, in running Sikh Youth Camps. Dr. Ujjagar Singh ji has been holding Sikh Youth Camps for the past 22 years. Bhavdeep Singh can be reached at [email protected]
