Dear Web Visitors of 50th Tactical Fighter Wing Homepage,
this is the first-ever attempt to proudly look back on the 50th Tactical Fighter Wing that once used to be stationed at Hahn Air Base, Germany. Many USAF members called Hahn home for a period in their life and I guess, most of them were proud Hahn Hawks. With this page I want to honor all these people and present to them a page that is dedicated to them. Since I have a passion for the F-16 Viper I mainly concentrate on the flying part that Hahn had once in USAFE. Most information is based on the three Tactical Fighter Squadrons and their members over the years. No doubt, the others made Hahn even stronger...it surely wasn�t all about flying!!
Please feel encouraged to send me any suggestions for later projects concerning Hahn AB and the 50th Tactical Fighter Wing ( e-mail: [email protected]).
At this point I want to apologize for not having graphics at all but I have just started this homepage and it will still take me a few weeks to find out about the techniqes to add graphics to my homepage.(Duh!! This was long ago. I�m full up with graphics....check them out man!)But be rest assured that I will do my best to make this homepage a great one.
It is my attempt to honor all the brave pilots who came overseas to defend my Country Germany, Europe and to maintain freedom for the world. For this I think we all should thank you since the 50th TFW�s no longer active and you have done a great job. To all the Hahn boys and the rest of the Hahn community (Military and Civilian) I dedicate this homepage.
