Canada. Its not as bad as you think.
A group of us Canadian students were on a trip to England, Wales, and Ireland. We were on a tour with several groups of American students who were quite similar to us. Nevertheless, several of them wished to be "adopted" as Canadians and wear little Canadian flag pins! There weren't really any rules about becoming an "adoptee" except that the adoptee had to be a nice person. Well, you too can be a Canadian Adoptee! I can't give out pins, but I can give this picture:

If you want to be an adopted Canadian, put it on your web page. All you have to do is be nice! E-mail me and tell me about your page, I'd love to see it!

Well, what is it like to live in Canada and be Canadian? Actually, its nothing too different. If you lived in Canada, this is what you would expect life to be like:
You have a very developed frear of blizzards. Although they don't happen too often, they are pretty scary! You don't want to be caught in one.
You are used to putting on several layers of clothing when planning to go outside from October to April. The number and thickness of the layers vary depending on the season.
Your school is closed because of the snow.
The traffic is stopped because of the snow.
You really appreciate summer when it comes.
You get used to hearing and reading things in French.
You don't have to pay for basic health care!
You're generally a really nice person and so are most of the people you know.
You get CBC for free.
People don't usually walk across the street unless the "walk" light is on.
There are trees, squirrels, and birds where you live.
You get to wear Canadian flags when you go on holiday. Enough said.
You feel cheated when the annual may snowstorm comes.
