HEY! Wait for the MIDI - its good!!

This is a page dedicated to the one who stole my heart (and more recently, my pen):

the home of Danny boy!

He's going to kill me for calling him that!

So who is this danny guy? He's a guy that I met waaaaay back in September 1995 (beginning of grade 11). Actually, we got off to a pretty bad start since I criticised his piano playing when he was using the piano at someone's house. Then one day we were at a Christian music concert in Red Deer (which was an absolutely terrible concert) and Dan started talking. I remember he said something about "playing cards taking over the world" and I started thinking "hmmm, this guy is kinda different. He's funny, too." So then I started spending time with him but of course I was way too shy to tell him I liked him. Unbeknownst to me, Dan felt the same way and didn't say anything. However, there were more problems ahead since an aquaintance of Dan's (who kind of liked me) told me that Dan was "going out" with a girl that he had met at a party (and it wasn't true)! I got really mad at Dan and avoided him for about two months. It didn't help that girls seem to have this inexplicable attaction to him and are always hanging around him. Finally, he approached me at a new year's party and played chess with me. Soon called me on the phone in and we started doing things together again. In January we went skating at Bower Ponds and that night Dan called me (by then this was usual). We talked for a really long time and then Dan finally asked me out! He was really shocked when I said yes. So anyway, we started going out and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Oh yeah, I just might put up some wedding pictures here when I have time...

Why do I love Dan?

Why wouldn't I?

because he would do anything for me (and vice versa)!

because he is 100% dedicated to me (and vice versa)

because I like everything about him (ok nearly everything)

because I think he's handsome and maybe you do too. There's a picture of him here but you probably won't be able to see his face since its a picture of him from quite a distance away. Oh well.

because he's very funny!

because he's kind, generous, and sensitive (you sure don't see this too often!)

Maybe someday Dan will have a page too. If he does put up a page, I'll put a link here and on the main page.

Things to know about Dan:

Dan works at CompuSmart in Edmonton. He either bikes, takes the bus, or gets a ride. By bike its about 35 min. each way; by bus its up to two hours depending on when he gets off work.

Dan was in Cadets in Ontario. He has taken drumming courses and was part of a highland regiment.

Dan knows a lot about computers and that's what he does when he isn't spending time with me!

Dan is allergic to chocolate! Poor guy!

Dan has three sisters and one brother (his oldest sister and his brother were adopted). Big family, eh?

Dan composes his own MIDI music! It's really good, too (I'm not just saying that because I love him...)
