The Mission of the Memphis Blues Rugby Club is to create a competitive,

championship caliber rugby team fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie; while

promoting the development and growth of rugby in the mid-south.

 

VISION STATEMENT

 

The vision of the Memphis Blues Rugby Club is to be recognized as a premier rugby club in the South Territorial Union, and to win the Division II National Championship.

 

VALUES STATEMENT

 

How we accomplish our Mission is as important as the Mission itself The fundamentals

to the success of the Memphis Blues Rugby Club are these basic values:

 

PLAYERS

Our players are the source of our strength.  Their performance and commitment determines our reputation and viability.  Investment in teamwork is essential, and as a team we must treat each other with trust and respect while elevating our level of play.

The support of our benefactors is critical to our success.  Because they have a choice in which organizations they endorse, our behavior whether on or off the field shall reflect our appreciation for the generosity they have provided.

 

SUCCESS

To achieve success, we must concentrate our efforts on developing and enhancing our level of fitness, skills, and game strategy in order to raise our performance to that of championship caliber.  Equally important is our responsibility in the evolvement of rugby within our community in order for us to perpetuate the game that we love as well as our Club, the Memphis Blues.
