A super ground, ok it's very small, maybe 8000 capacity, but it's almost all-seater, has four well matched stands, is neatly painted in red and cream and is absolutely ideal for the club. Along one side is an old, old stand, full of character and view obstructing posts all the way along. and maybe it's not the greatest place to be on a freezing January afternoon but all the same well preserved and still functional.
The other three sides have all been rebuilt in the last few years, so they are neat, modern constructions filled with clean, new red seats.The stand behind one goal is interesting because it seems to have a pub inside it, this is a variation on the executive box theme that could catch on!
Next season there's lots of big ones for Crewe, like Man. City, Wolves, and even starting in the FA Cup at the 3rd round stage.
Any game just to see the attractive, crisp passing game of Dario Gradi's side.
