INTRODUCE MYSELF

Hi. My name is Wei Bian. For the character of my first name in Chinese, it means rose and sound like "way" in English. If you think about Highway, it is the easiest way to remember my name. Just like you say "Hi. Wei" to me. I have just graduated from the School of Health,Physical Education and Leisure Services at The University of Northern Iowathis summer. Now I am working on my Ph.D degree majoring in Physical Education at The University of Georgia

I am an international student. I come fromPeople's Republic of China. My home city is TianJin, which is the third largest city in China.

The NanKai University is the place where I grew up and played around in my childhood. Then, at the age of 13, I started to playVolleyball, which later becomes one of my favorite sport in my life.

I have received my B.Ed. and M.Ed. in Beijing University of Physical Education. After my graduation from there, I worked as a P.E instructor and Volleyball coach in Tianjin Institute of Physical Education. In 1993, our team won the Championship in Tianjin Intercollegiate Volleyball Competition. My research interest is in sports psychology and volleyball coaching area. Some of my research work were published in Chinese Sports Science magazines.
