OTHER WASHINGTON CAPITALS ENFORCERS
CRAIG BERUBE
This picture is fresh from the police station. It looks like some jail bars belong in front of his face. And maybe that is where he belongs. I think this guy has kicked everyone's ass in the league. He has beat up a number of capitals in the years before he joined the team. We are glad to have him in Washington where he can kick as much ass as he likes.

Player Profile : Craig Berube
Height: 6-1
Weight: 205 lbs.
Born: December 17, 1965 in Calihoo, Alberta
Acquired: Traded by the Calgary Flames to the Washington Capitals for fifth-round draft pick (Darryl LaFrance) on June 26, 1993.
KEVIN KAMINSKI
My roommate says Kevin Kaminski looks like a 12 year old. He is the toughest 12 year old I know. He has not been involved in a lot of scraping this year--probably due to the large presence the Capitals put out on the ice. But have no doubt that Kaminski knows what he is doing when he gets on the ice. Shoenfield has said "[Kaminski] draws a lot more penalties than he takes." The point is he knows how to put the Caps on a power play.

Player Profile : Kevin Kaminski
Height: 5-10
Weight: 190 lbs.
Born: March 13, 1969 in Churchbridge, Saskatchewan
Acquired:Traded by the Quebec Nordiques to the Washington Capitals for Mark Matier on June 15, 1993.
MARK TINORDI
Not so much known for his fighting ability as for his absolutly devistating checks. I mean this guy has master the hip check, the fore check, the back check, the cross-check, the side check, the board check, and every other kind of check you can imagine. If you have never been to a game that involved Mark Tinordi, you must go if you ever get the chance. So much of what he does is behind the play and the TV cameras just don't pick it up. And the best part is that he picks his spots--this means he does it at the expense of the opponent, not his own team.

Player Profile : Mark Tinordi
Height:6-4
Weight:213 lbs.
Born:May 9, 1966 in Red Deer, Alberta
Acquired:Traded by the Dallas Stars with rights to Rick Mrozik to the Washington Capitals for Kevin Hatcher on Jan. 18, 1995.
BRENDAN WITT
Mark Tinordi's student. At 22, this kid shows a lot of promise to be the next Mark Tinordi. But beyond that, he is beginning to show some talent with his stick. He has also shown a big heart and a fearless attitude by beating the crap out of a Flyer (the name eludes me) on March 9. The fight was so good it was shown on highlight films all over North America and he turned many heads right before the trading deadline. However the Caps were smarter than to let this kid get away.

Player Profile : Brendan Witt
Height: 6'-1"
Weight: 205 lbs.
Born: February 20, 1975 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan
Acquired:Selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round (11th pick overall) of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
DALE HUNTER
He is approaching 37 and is still playing in the NHL. Time does not seem to phase the Captain of the Caps. Pointwise, he is having the best season in 4 years. He exercises leadership by not taking stupid penalties and not making stupid mistakes like standing in the crease or leveling a goalie because the goalie talks trash. He is one of few to rack up 900 points and 1600 PIM's.

Player Profile : Dale Hunter
Height: 5'-10"
Weight: 200 lbs.
Born: July 31, 1960 in Petrolia, Ontario
Acquired:Traded by the Quebec Nordiques with Clint Malarchuk to the Washington Capitals for Alan Haworth, Gaetan Duchesne and 1987 first-round draft pick (Joe Sakic) on June 13, 1987.
RICK TOCCHET
This man has been a Capital killer in the past, but now he is with us and kicking some ass. He has a strong physical presence and doesn't hesitate to use it however he has been known more for his goals and assists since joining the Caps.

Player Profile : Rick Tocchet
Height: 6-0
Weight: 205 lbs.
