BMX news (AKA the Ramble section)

Here BMX news and other info will be added/chanded/updated frequently.....I'll try about every three weeks....if it drastically needs to be changed....email me at stewe @geocities.com. You can even have an article in here if you write it up and email it to me...it may be in by three weeks....if you're lucky...and I'm not busy.

Here comes a new season for BMX.....'97! I can't wait to get back on the Binghamton BMX track.....ready to kick some roost again. For info on when the races start..... Click here. That will bring you to the NBL home page. Find a track nearest you-and see when their first race is. I t should be sometime around March-April-May. Then all you have to do is go to the track....ready to race....with your gear and bike.....and register. It is $30 for a year membership- but you get a yearly subscription to Cycles today which will have your race stats in it....Cool huh?

Hope that Tom Purse and Redline will have another great season??? How about Gary Ellis and his little GT friends??? How will Matt Hoffman do at the X-games??? These are all questions I cannot answer because it is the beginning of a new year...but I can answer many of your questions. Email me at... Many new trades are being made...and as far as I know there is no pro diamondback rider....Will anyone like to join their team?!?!?!?!?!?Just Kidding....unless you're that good.

Spin mags and full faces.....new/old? Last season spin mags were very popular in the BMX culture, and so were full face helmets also...wil they stay in the trend....I hope not...spin mags cost $360 for a set!!!

Dale Holmes. Dale Holmes won the World Champs for BMX on his GT............but was riding for Great Britan.......not USA. I think that that is unfair because he races and gets good with US, but then uses his stuff onus! What?

BMX is comin' back. Remember those years when BMX was so very popular.....when it was invented....now it has died out....but is comin' back thanx to you....maybe my page is helpin' it!!!!!Cool Huh!!! Lets see some more BMX tracks up soon....like in Syracuse....where I live....we need one.....I have to drive 1.75 hours to Binghamton just to race three fourty second motos.
