THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

WE ARE WARNED AGAINST ANYONE PREDICTING HIS RETURN

But of that Day and Hour knows no one, not even the Angels of Heaven, nor the Son but the Father Only. Matthew 24:36, cf. 24:42,44; 25:13

It is not for you to know the times or seasons which the Father Has Placed Under His Own Authority. Acts 1:7

BELIEVE NO ONE WHO CLAIMS THEY KNOW WHEN JESUS CHRIST WILL RETURN, INCLUDING ANYONE WHO GIVES A YEAR, DATE OR ANY "TIME" FOR THE RAPTURE

We are NOT to say, "He is Coming soon". This in itself implies a relative "time". Neither are we to say, "It is far off", for no man has that knowledge either. Neither are we to say, "He will come in this or that (or our) generation", as so many have done in this and past "generations". We Declare unto you that all that this was and is MANIFEST FOOLISHNESS! We are not to say, "He will Return at a certain season" (such as Rosh Hashanah or Passover for instance, of ANY year) or what "might happen" at any other "season". This is all false prophesying.

We are to remain in Peace and Rest, Comforted by the fact that all of this is in The Fathers' Hands and one elses'. Period.

It is not correct to say, "It is imminent" either, once again, because we simply do not and cannot know. We are to relax and tell all those false prognosticators to stop all their phony, money-making, spell-binding "end-times and last-days prophecies": "it-is-very-soon-because-this-or-that-just-happened-in-the-Middle-East-and-so-let's-all-be-afraid-let's-all-be-very-very-afraid-and-listen-to-them" hogwash in which they and those who give them ear disobey the Scripture. All of them need to Fully Repent from these surmisings and stop trying to second-guess G-d by frightening Believers with any "time"!!!

FALSE PROPHETS WILL CLAIM THEY KNOW WHEN, OR "ABOUT WHEN"

There are false ones about who will claim they "know", either by calculations, what they may call a "word of knowledge", a "vision", a "dream", a "prophecy revealed" an "understanding of the Bible and prophetic events" or by some other "revelation". According to Jesus' Words, they are deluded at best or deliberate deceivers at worst; selling their books and publications for the sake of filthy lucre. These ones have made millions and millions from naive believers who are deceived into buying their books, viewing their movies, tuning into their TV programs and radio shows, or attending their "evangelistic meetings" or so-called "churches".

Basically, all such persons whether "reverend", "pastor", "evangelist", "greatly respected Bible teacher", "prophet", "Biblical authority" or not, teach falsely. This also includes any individuals who claim they have some "Bible Code" to predict Jesus Return.

THE FATHER ALONE KNOWS

Jesus Said the Father Alone Knows this.

So include anyone who says when "Armageddon" will come; like "soon", or "it's right around the corner". ("Armageddon" is a synonym they use for the Second Coming of Christ). If you hear that, run as fast as you can out of that "church meeting" or "prayer meeting"! Who will you Believe" Jesus? or their babblings for donations or their books, tapes or slick videos?

Jesus told us that these things cannot be foreknown by any man.[1] So what is the very first thing the curious want to know? Some "inside information" with a "time" or "moment" attached that they can latch onto and believe! And are there persons who are willing to supply that demand? You better believe there are! Loads of them!

They don't know the "time" and neither can they rightly predict any "moment" either. Below is a short list of those so involved. We are speaking of ones devoting or have devoted a sizable part of their ministries to making such claims, and have made some big money when they were not true.

A BRIEF LIST OF FALSE PROPHETS, "SEERS", PROGNOSTICATORS

NO ONE CAN PREDICT ANY "TIME" AT ALL AS DISPENSATIONALISTS HAVE DONE AND STILL CONTINUE TO DO

Dispensationalism, by ordering and categorizing "future events" (Rapture, Great Tribulation, Millennium) into specific chronological "times", as they have been TOLD by Jesus Christ Himself WILL NEVER BE POSSIBLE FOR MAN IN THIS LIFE, have VIOLATED SCRIPTURE by taking it upon themselves CLAIMING TO KNOW something about how The Father Reckons and Has Chronologically Ordered future "times and seasons". They attempt and have attempted to probe into Secrets Things of The Father Himself and then announce themselves as "a somebody who knows"!

THE "DARBY RAPTURITES" MOST SUBTLE APPROACH : "ANY MOMENT"

By claiming "any moment" they imply with a sense of certainty that The "Darby Rapture" could be the very next second. By implying or insisting that it could be the very next second they subtly ALSO predict a "time", because when that "second" comes and goes, they are PROVEN DEAD WRONG which Yeshua said no man can even come close to guessing. They do this all the time whether they or anyone else realizes it or not. Simply put, we are not to concern ourselves with any "time" for His Return at all, but to be in constant readiness and Trusting in the Light that He has Given us to be so, because He Alone is "The Author and Finisher of our Faith".[2]

The "any moment" teaching was first known to be introduced by one Edward Irving about 1825. Irving taught the "any moment" teaching and that it would happen also in "their generation"; (the generation of the early 1800's). The Brethren Movement at first totally rejected Irvings' teaching, but later changed their minds and completely accepted Irvings' view and began teaching it themselves! Darby was a member of the Brethren Movement. The teaching is that there is no event that must preceed the Rapture, therefore it can happen "at any moment". Their teaching however, also says that the Rapture cannot occur until all who are to be Saved are Saved, thus ending their "Church Age".

So on the one hand, they teach it is "imminent" with no intervening events required, but on the other hand, admit that everyone who will be Saved in their "Church Age" must first be Saved before it possibly can happen!

MORE DOUBLE-TALK

That is not the only double-talk. As Believers know, there will be no "sign" given before He Returns. Yet they cannot seem to publish a book or get on the T.V. without announcing some "newly-revealed prophetic sign"!?!

FOOTNOTES

[1]The Word of Jesus Christ is an Eternal Word. This means that even when the Rapture happens (not the Darby Rapture but the Real One), people will not be able to tell what will happen next, nor when. These things are Known by The Father Only.

[2]There are also others who "predicted" future times. One was the American colonialist and evangelist Jonathan Edwards, who, in the 1700's, predicted the Millennium would begin "in 200 years". Another was the noted mathematician Sir Isaac Newton who calculated that the Return of Jesus Christ will occur in 2060. They did not however, have these predictions form the bulk of their ministries.

As Martin Luther said, "We can only affirm a Prophecy as being truly Fulfilled once it is past."
