Gegen, Forra (Henry Woronicz) - A Voth professor; Gegen and Veer find Hogan's remains; Gegen decides to challenge Voth doctrine when he believes the discovery of Hogan's remains proves the Distant Origon theory; Gegen's family usually mates with the family of Towt, but Gegen tells Veer that traditions are meant to be broken; Gegen is charged with heresy against doctrine; he recants his theory after Odala threatens to put him and the Voyager crew in a detention colony for the rest of their lives; after he retracts his claim regarding the Distant Origin theory, he is reassigned to the area of metallurgical analysis. (Macrocosm) Malfunctions in the gel packs are causing false readings to be sent to the sensors; the malfunctioning gel packs are in sequence six theta nine; the neurodes in the pack are discharging in random bursts; the level 4 diagnostic of the command processors reveals that quantum failures are present in 33 percent of the gel pack relays; the Doctor discovers that the radiation from the nebula is producing a degradation in the synaptic relays of the gel packs. German Kapitan - The German Kapitan is the father of Brigitte's child; the Kapitan says that the greatest prize of the war is art; Brigitte gets into Nazi headquarters by telling the guard that she needs to see the Kapitan. (The Killing Game, Part 1) The Kapitan is 2nd in command of the Saint Claire occupation; Brigitte tells Davis that she took advantage of the Kapitan's interest in order to help the Resistance; after the Kapitan learns that Brigitte is part of the Resistance, he says that the thought of her carrying his child disgusts him; he decides to spare Brigitte's life for now but only because she is carrying a German child. Germany - The Commandant says that the Resistance will come to Saint Claire because any ground assault into Germany must pass through the city first; Katrine says that they must gather info about German troop movements; the Kapitan says that the German people deserve Europe and everything in it and that Germans are the master race because their blood is pure; while at Nazi headquarters, Katrine listens to an incoming message about German troop movement and realizes that the Germans know the Americans are coming. (Deadlock) After being hit by the polaron burst, Voyager's shields are now rotating at 92 gigahertz and can be detected by the rest of the Swarm. Gigaquad - Information in the ship's computer is measured in gigaquads; after the distortion wave has engulfed Voyager and then moved on, Torres says that 20 million gigaquads of new information have been input into the ship's computer. (Twisted) Torres and Janeway find 5 billion gigaquads of information in the sensor logs of the shuttle; this info describes every cubic centimeter in the sector. Gigawatts - A unit of measurement; Kim stops Seven from grabbing onto something that has 5 million gigawatts running through it; Seven says that the exoskeleton on her hand can withstand it. (Revulsion)

Gin rummy - Tuvok and Chakotay play this game while waiting for Carey or Seska to take the bait; Tuvok seems to be an expert gin rummy player. (State of Flux)

Ginsberg, Maury (Maury Ginsberg) - Q brings Ginsberg to Voyager as proof that Quinn has touched and affected many lives; Quinn gave Ginsberg a ride to Woodstock where Ginsberg was a spotlight operator that was instrumental in making the concert happen; Quinn also introduced him to his future wife; he became a successful orthodontist and settled in Scarsdale with his 4 kids. Glacial freeze - The planet experienced a glacial freeze which was caused by a solar flare which radically changed the planet's weather patterns. (The Thaw)

Gorath - As part of the Day of Honor ritual, Torres must traverse the sulfur lagoons of Gorath, but she decides not to go through with it. (Day of Honor)

Gorokian midwife toad - Q asks Quinn if he would like to spend eternity as a Gorokian midwife toad. (Deathwish)

Grand Nagus - Neelix, disguised as the Grand Proxy, says that he was sent by the Grand Nagus to recall Arridor and Kol back to the Alpha Quadrant. (False Profits)

Grand Proxy - The Grand Proxy is the official messenger of the Grand Nagus; Neelix disguises himself as the Grand Proxy to try to trick Arridor and Kol to leave Takar; they decide to kill Neelix until Neelix admits that he really isn't the Grand Proxy. (False Profits)

Gravidic caliper - Vorik suggests that Torres use this tool to help regulate the plasma flow since it is a more precise instrument that the duotronic probe. (Fair Trade)

Gravimetric field - When Voyager is still 2 light years away from the relay station, they begin encountering gravimetric forces; the forces must be coming from a very powerful energy source since they are detecting it from so far away; the power source of the gravimetric field is a quantuum singularity. Gravimetric torpedo - Janeway tells Tuvok to fire a gravimetric torpedo at the remaining Omega molecules that have been jettisoned in the harmonic resonance chamber. (Omega Directive)

Gravitometric force - The temporal anomaly exerts some sort of gravitometric force on the shuttle so that they are unable to break free. (Coda)

Graviton matrix - The spatial rift that opens up in front of Voyager has a graviton matrix. (Future's End, Part 1)

Graviton pulse - The Ferengi shuttle sends out a graviton pulse in order to throw off Voyager's targeting scanners so that Voyager will not be able to beam them back on board; the pulse increases the rotational momentum of the wormhole which causes it to destablize; it knocks the wormhole completely off its subspace axis so that it is now jumping erractically on both end. Gray's Anatomy - This is one of the medical texts that Kim loads into the Emergency Medical replacement hologram that he and Paris are trying to create. (Message in a Bottle)

"Grease Monkey" - This is the name of the holodeck program that Paris has been running in order to work the Chevey Camaro; Paris tells Steth that "grease monkey" is mechanic lingo. (Vis A Vis)

Great Forest - Neelix tells Naomi that he thinks about the Great Forest whenever he is afraid; Talaxians believe that they will all go to the Great Forest someday; Neelix says that it is a beautiful forest filled with sunlight and all the people who ever loved him are gathered there to watch over and protect him while he sleeps; Neelix begins to doubt his beliefs because he did not go to the Great Forest when he died; he was taught that he dies, his ancestors would be waiting for him by the Guiding Tree in the Great Forest. Great Hall - The Great Hall is the dark and gloomy residence of King Hrothgar; it was once a beautiful place before Grendel came. (Heroes and Demons)

Griffith Observatory - This is one of the SETI labs that Starling is funding; Rain is an astronomer there; Rain met Starling at the Griffith Restoration party; the observatory is about 20 km away from where the away team beams down; Janeway sends Paris and Tuvok to the observatory to find out who sent the message and get more info on what they know. (Future's End, Part 1) The observatory is located in Hollywood Hills; Tuvok contacts Voyager from there by modifying the satellite dish transmitter to carry and receive Voyager communications frequencies. Guill (Wayne Pere) - A Mari merchant; Janeway and Torres buy a resonant coil from Guill; during the mind meld with Tuvok, Torres remembers that Guill gave her the creeps and that he wanted something terrible from her; Guill says that his children get upset when he's late for supper; Tuvok senses Guill's fascination with Tuvok's unconscious thoughts and that he would like to see more of them if he could; Guill offers to help Tuvok learn to deal with his dark impulses; he says that he gets the violent thoughts by buying, sharing and sometimes taking them from others; Guill claims that Frane extracted the violent thought from Torres but Tuvok concludes that Guill extracted the thought from her as well; Tuvok attempts to take Guill into custody but he is attacked by Malin and another man; Tuvok initiates a mind meld with Guill and shows him thoughts so dark that Guill begs him to stop; Tuvok takes Guill into custody and then turns him over to Nimira; Guill is a prominent figure in the black market of violent thoughts that is prevalent in Mari society; he and Frane conspired to provoke a violent thought in Torres and then telepathically draw it from her mind. Guillotine - The crowd puts Kim's head under the guillotine, but Viorsa interrupts and prevents them from dacapitating Kim; When the Clown discovers that Voyager is disassembling the environment piece by piece, he sends Viorsa to the guillotine when he realizes that Virosa told them how to do it.
