Gillian Anderson directed and wrote her first episode. The 7th season episode, all things. This is what the official site says about it. "A SERIES OF COINCIDENCES PUTS SCULLY IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE FROM HER PAST, CAUSING HER TO QUESTION HER ROMANTIC AND PROFESSIONAL CHOICES." But she goes back to Mulder at the end.
It was great. It was an all Scully episode. Except for a few scenes.
Update: There is a rumor that Gillian Anderson might play a Jedi in the next Starwars movie, Episode II. Send mail to Lucasfilm Ltd. for her support!
Gillian Anderson is staring in The House Of Mirth with Eric Stoltz. It was filmed in Scotland and South France. Nice Maybe? The House Of Mirth will premire in the US in September on Showtime.

"It would be great to eventually see them have the greatest sex in the world, just as a relief for the whole audience, as well as them! We could have a whole hour devoted to just Mulder and Scully in bed together -with a half hour of foreplay, and then raunchy sex with everything from handcuffs to chandeliers over their heads."
