Check out the new design studies for the PC800's replacement!!

On Tuesday, July 7th, 1998, I bought myself a little birthday present. I'm now the proud owner of a Honda PC800 (Pacific Coast) motorcycle. It's a very comfortable motorcycle, good on gas, well balanced and always good for a conversation at the filling station. Options and accessories so far are:

The bike only had 9,400 miles on it when I purchased it, and currently has over 23K miles (as of June 10, 1999). I couldn't be happier with it. Of course, I plan on making some modifications, as any good biker does, but it performs very well right out of the box, thank you very much. Here are some of the specs....

Manufacturer: Honda Model: 1994 Pacific Coast 800
Engine: liquid cooled 45 degree V-twin
Bore x stroke: 79.5mm x 80.6mm
Displacement: 800cc
Carburetion: Two 46mm diaphragm-type CV
Transmission: Five speed, shaft drive
Wheelbase: 61.2 inches (1554.5mm)
Seat height: 30.1 inches (764.5mm)
Fuel capacity: 4.2 gallons (15.9L)
Claimed dry weight: 584.2 lbs (218.0kg)
Measured wet weight: 640.0 lbs (238.8kg)

One of the unique features of this bike is that it has a TRUNK!

Yes, an honest to god, automotive type trunk in the back. It can hold 2 full faced helmets, a few days worth of groceries, enough ice and beer to get yourself into real trouble, or whatever else you want to bring along.
