Hi -- My name is Preston Pratt and I am a Z car enthusiast who desires to share my Z passions and interests with others. Many automobile experts consider the 240Z to be one of the 10 most important cars in changing automobile history. For me it embodies the lines and appeal of a Ferrari, Jaguar, Corvette and Mustang. For the price, it has always been the best value of performance and handling. The Z Car platform has been used for replicas of Ferrari, Aston Martin, Cobra, GT40 and several other historic automobiles. It also makes a nice convertible. After building and owning various replicas, I always come back to owning an original 240Z, whose lines are timeless and worth admiring.

I live in Youngtown, Arizona just outside the Phoenix area. I am well known throughout Arizona for my involvement with Z cars and am presently an officer in the Arizona Z club.

Here are some of our noteworthy efforts:

I've owned over 200 Z cars since 1970;
I raced an ITS 240Z car in the Arizona Region of SCCA in the '96 and '97 season (see image below). My crew chief and wife, Rosemarie Graca and I completely built my 240 racer, (with a little help from our friends). I was second in the Regional Championship in ITS Class in 1997;
I buy, restore and sell 240 Z cars (when I can find good ones);
Up until two years ago, I owned an original Eagle/Alpha kit car -- Ferrari 250GTO on a Z platform, that I had built. It's a beautiful car with a 350 V8 in it, 4-link suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes, and many other goodies;
I have successfully completed V8 conversions of Z cars, and have owned many of them, including a V8 Scarab called the "ZBeast".
I also owned a factory built McBurnie Ferrari 1962 250GTO replica that always turned heads and made it difficult to remember I was driving a replica. I have also owned and built 240Z, 280Z and 280ZX convertible conversions.
I currently own my 1972 ex-ITS SCCA 240Z, it is still very fast and handles well. It is now a hot-rod Z Car.
