I have 30 years of professional experience. I've been making racing oil pans since 1977. I was the oil pan welder for Blum's Racing Enterprises from 1980-1990. Then I went to work for ten years at AVIAID, a leading racing oil pan and oil pump manufacturer. In 2001, I started my own company, AR Oil Pans.

I can make oil pans for Circle Track, Road Race, Drag, Marine, Street driving and Show Cars -- you name it! Small and big block Chevy, small and big block Ford, imports, engines with turbos and superchargers -- any car that has an oil pan, I can make a custom pan for you! I can also build you a dry sump system -- the ultimate in racing engine lubrication.

I like to make my pans from 16 GA steel. Baffles are brazed except where too much distortion might occur, then they are TIG welded. That way I make sure the baffles don't have any gaps through which the oil could move away from the pickup area. A new oil pickup tube assembly designed for each specific pan is included with every pan I sell.

My oil pans are gas welded outside. That way the welding bead doesn't have any pinholes which is common with TIG and MIG welding. Those pinholes can become filled with slag which sometimes comes off with the engine vibration, causing the pan to start leaking. I immerse every pan I make in an acid bath to remove all the slag that welding produces. The finishing touch is zinc plating which gives the pans a golden color.

On my Circle Track pans, I install two windage trays -- one flat and the other made out of unidirectional screen. The oil pickup screens are stainless steel.

When installed using the appropriate gasket, my pans fit on the block perfectly and DO NOT leak! The baffling, trap doors and oil pickup are located where the best oil control is possible. You can't buy a better oil pan.
