1960 Fiat Vignale 2+2 Touring Coupe

[No Picture yet....]

Paul Leverenz wrote following lines about
the rare 1960 Fiat Vignale 2+2 touring coupe:

"It was an all aluminum body, leather upholstery, 2100cc Fiat engine, 4 spd column-shift transmission, and only about 12 ever built. In recent years I found someone in New York who still owns one and I think somewhere I have correspondence on his car. My mother kept this car until about 1966 and traded it in on a Mercedes 190SL. I drove that car most of the time she owned it, and have fond memories of driving thru northern Baja California at high speeds; it sounded as nice as it performed. I believe this was a prototype of sorts for the Ford Mustang as it resembled the Mustang in many ways".
