The type 613 was the first Tatra styled outside the Tatra factory. Carrozzeria Vignale designed the body and interior. Vignale built the first (three) prototypes in 1968, but production didn't start untill 1973. Like it's predecessor, the Tatra T603, the T613 was intended to be used by Czech government officials. Some T613's were also used as taxi's.
