All the sites I have linked to on this page provide web access in the UK for the cost of a local call (BT Price Page) and charge no monthly subscription. I have split them into three categories: Those that don't require you to register, those that do and those that do and also provide mail/news/web space.
If I have used the service I have included a short review. Have a go and see what you think.
Remember, most of these sites expect you to have a small amount of technical knowledge and charge huge amounts if you require support (50 pence a minute). If you're really that unconfident then you're better off paying the monthly subscription and going with a service like BT Internet.

BT ClickFree

This is a new service from BT. Provides you with web access only .
Very good. No need to register.
They also provide free e-mail called Talk 21.

Full Service (web access, web space, POP3 mail, newsgroups). Normally you need to get the CD-ROM from Dixions to get access via Freeserve. However this site shows you how to register without it, which also stops Freeserve logos being displayed all over your desktop.
