Beowulf Cluster

A supercomputer built to run I.C. Engines simulation CFD software

This is a Beowulf cluster made of 5 Pentium III-700 MHz boxes powered by Mandrake Linux 7.0. Nodes are connected by 100Mbit Ethernet TCP/IP network. We are planning to upgrade this Beowulf system to 18-node array by the beginning of year 2002.
The objective of this project is to execute CFD programs that simulate turbulent flows and combustion in parallel environment using LES approach. MPICH 1.2.1. is used as MPI inplementation for this system.
You can get sample free CFD (not only parallel) codes here.
