(April 12, 1998)...Warren,PA...After tedius work by the crew, we finished the car up at 3 PM on Saturday. It took a bunch of long nights this week (until 1-2 AM) to get it done for this week, but we made Challenger...

(April 10,1998)Some new sponsors have been picked up..Keystone Subaru of Warren, PA has come back to be an associate sponsor after being the major sponsor last year.Also coming on is Probst Battery, and Pro Cam Racing Engine Components of Nunica, Michigan....
(April 2, 1998)Warren,PA... We picked up the new car last weekend, and spent time with the guys from Warrior going over different set-ups for the car. Unfortunately, the engine will not be ready to pick up at Baker's until Monday evening, so we will miss the opening night of Challenger. We are heading to Michigan early Tuesday morning to pick it up, then will be installing it Tuesday night.

(March 19,1998)Warren,PA...Brendel Auto Sales,located in Ridgeway, PA. and Bauschard Dodge,located in Bradford, PA have signed up to sponsor our car for the `98 Season. Also, our trailer is being lettered on Saturdaywith the new paint scheme, and is being redone on the inside by the crew. (March 15,1998)Warren,PA...We have completed a deal with Baker Racing Engines in Grand Rapids, Michigan to run a 415 cu.in. Engine this year.Baker is the powerplant that Ron Davies has been running the past few years in his own Late Model. (March 15,1998)Warren,PA...We recieved a phone call that our new car will be ready for pickup on March 27th. Dutch will be heading out to Knoxville,TN to the Warrior factory to pick it up. While he is there, he will spend some time with the guys at Warrior, going over set-ups and configurations on the car. We will have it in our shops on the 29th of March. Unfortunately, that means we will miss the practice at Challenger on the 28th. We plan on being ready to go for the 1st night at Challenger and will be debuting our new car and colors there.
