• A thorough port and polish of the engine's head @ $300 DONE
• Complete port/gasket matching of the head @ $50 DONE
• A three-angle valve job @ $150 DONE
• A set of stiffer Crane valve springs @$70 DONE
• A shave of the head to bring the engine compression up a bit @ $50 DONE
• High lift, longer duration Mazdaspeed camshafts @ $800 DONE
• A 2mm overbore of the engine block, resulting in 1928cc displacement @ $400 DONE
• Four custom 10.5:1 high compression pistons and rings @ $600 DONE
• Blue-print and balance @ $150 DONE
• Larger cc/min injectors, used, @ $200 DONE
• And a MiataLink ECU and programming keypad to manage everything @ $1,250 DONE
• AAAnd an overbored throttle body from a 1.6L @ $200
• AAAAAaannd now that I fear blowing up my engine with the stock rods, 4 Carrillos high strength rods and bolts @ $900 DONE
