A striking feature of the welcoming interior of this multi-award winning pub is the split level bar which is impeccably decorated in both modern and traditional styles. The antiquity and beauty of the town is reflected in the pictures which adorn the walls. Complementing this charm is a myriad of well chosen artefacts reminiscint of bygone days - in short a mini mueseum where one can browse at leisure while enjoying the fare.
Upstairs, the relaxing ambience of the Comeragh Restaurant is repeated in the contrasting styles of two compact dining rooms - the Long Hill room and the Slievenamon Room, both being ideally suited to private lunches and dinner parties as well as business functions. Linking the restaurant with the dining rooms is a well-appointed cosy lobby with its radiant fireplace, just the spot for a pre-prandial drink or indeed a place to linger after a satisfying meal.
For balmy summer days, a well manicured beer garden, to the rear, with its profusion of flowers is the ideal setting for a thirst-quenching drink.
