Welcome, I am Jimmy and I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I served 20 Years in the U.S. Army, (see link on the opening page). I am currently a Fire/Rescue Dispatcher with Savannah's Bureau of Fire and Emergency Services.

 My wife Judy, who was also born and raised in Atlanta, and I have been married for 31 years. I met her at an Atlanta Braves Baseball game, where I worked part time while I was stationed at Fort McPherson. She attended all the games, since her father, Henry (RED) Wooten, was a scout for the team.

We have resided in Hinesville, Georgia since my retirement from the service. Hinesville is located about 40 miles southwest of Savannah, GA. Judy is a civilian employee at Fort Stewart, Georgia where she is an Administrative Assistant with the Adjutant General's Office.

 We have two grown children. James works at The Georgia State Prison, in Reidsville, GA, and Janet is a homemaker. She met Buddy when she worked in the office at an automobile repair shop, where he is a mechanic. We have three beautiful granddaughters: Rebekka, Melissa, and Sarah. We also have three wonderful step-grandsons, Christopher, Michael and Joshua.

We also have two dogs. Flash who is a full-grown basset hound, who spends most of her time sleeping. And then there is Rebel, who is really growing, and without saying, causes lots of turmoil about the house.
