Leo Hayes was born in Washington state.
If any quality of a performer is to stand above all others, it is the ability to involve the audience with his music and presentation. It is this quality that makes Leo Hayes such an extraordinary performer.

Receiving his first guitar as an heirloom from his grandfather, Leo learned to play and write music at the age of thirteen. He is now thirty one years old, married and the father of three children. After three years of military service following high school, this northwest native has continued his music career developing his skill as a singer, songwriter and performer.

Today Leo is an entertainer whose talents, looks and versatility place him in a category attained by few others. Performing Country to Rock-A-Billy. Americana to old time Rock n' Roll, Leo captivates his audience with his style and phenomenal stage presence. This combination of attributes makes Leo Hayes a marketable artist.

Pursuing his profession, Leo moved to Nashville in December of 1995 where he worked with Gatlin Brothers Music and producers Randy Hauser and Mike Smith. In conjunction with his developing recording career. Leo continued to work as a performing artist with guest spots on radio, television, and other live performances.

He appeared in August, 1997, for the 20th anniversary at Graceland. In early 1998, working with producer Billy Lawson of Sony Tree Publishing, Leo recorded his first album with August Records.
