About the making of the Western Swing & Other Things Homepage...
The Purpose of this page is to answer any questions you may have about the making of this site, or what was used to make it! ; )
This site is designed and maintained
by Travis K. Bailey, Allen's oldest son. Travis is still in College, so the
updates to this site may slow down somewhat around test time or finals, or when
Allen is busy with Tourist season. This site is Made and Updated with a 6500/275
series Power Macintosh, and is checked for errors on a 6500/275 Power Macintosh
and an iMac, running Mac OS 8.5.1 and Mac OS 8.6. NSP productions was
started by Travis in 1990 when he began doing a weekly comic strip for the Montezuma
High School newspaper entitled The NSP. Amoung Travis' success with
the NSP comic strip include qualifying for State Competition twice, Placing
Second at State, and winning a National competition sponsored by Crayola. Travis
then went on to be the Editor of the Rebel, Montezuma's Yearbook, for two straight
years before graduating and going off to College. Travis has been taught the
fundementals of some Graphics programs, but has self-taught himself much of
what you see here.
The software and accessories involved
in making and keeping this site going is as follows: Netscape Communicator 4.5,
Netscape Navigator 4.07, Internet Explorer 4.1, Dreamweaver 2.0, Adobe Photoshop
3.06, Adobe Pagemill 2.0, Anarchie 3.5, Painter Classic 1.0.2, the USB Wacom
PenPartner, and last but not least, ICQ. While ICQ isn't directly involved with
the actual making of the site, it does keep Travis & Allen in
close contact with each other so they can plan what to do next with this site.
Travis also has a homepage which is currently under reconstruction, so the address will be posted here if you would like to check it out when it is complete. Interested in contacting Travis about making or designing you a webpage? Feel free to email him at [email protected].
