The History of the Italian Tank Corps web page includes a summary of the various frontlines where the Italian tanks saw action throughout the 1935-1945 decade (i.e.: from the Abyssinian War to WW II).
As this topic is usually neglected by the "a la page" historians, I have prepared these additional pages to provide detailed and (I swear : I will do my best) impartial information about the armored Italian Corps operations during the World War II.

Herebelow is the timeline of the campaigns where the Italians tanks soldiered between 1940 and 1943 (when they actually ceased to operate as independent units) :

• North Africa   (June 1940 - May 1943)

• East Africa   (June 1940 - November 1941)
• Balkans   (October 1940 - April 1941)
• Russia   (July 1941 - February 1943)
• The Defense of Rome    (September 8-10, 1943)
