“Shattered Peace: Part 2”

“Struggle all you want, you can’t escape.  Now you die.  DARK CLOUD!!!”  The brown gem sent out another spiraling cloud, but this time an unexpected turn of events occurred.  As the cloud steadily approached the Sailors, a golden gate opened above their heads.  The Sailors figured that it would suck them up to oblivion, but Sorcerra, knowing that it wasn’t supposed to be there, became extremely cautious.

Because the gate began to shine, both Sorcerra and the Sailors had to look away.  Without their knowledge, five figures emerged from the gate and stood in front of it.  Once all of them were there, the gate disappeared, and the Sailors turned there heads again.  They noticed that the five people were dressed as Sailors, but they only recognized one.  Sorcerra noticed this too and watched them, although she didn’t worry too much because she believed the cloud would take care of them.

“SILENT WALL!!!” shouted the Sailor in purple with a long staff, which Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Scouts would learn is called a Glaive.  The Sailor’s staff began to twirl and the cloud bounced right off it and back into the gem.

When Sorcerra saw this, her eyes widened.  She was preparing for an attack when the youngest Sailor with pink hair yelled, “PINK SUGAR HEART ACHE!!!”  She created small hearts, then threw them at Sorcerra, distracting her from attacking.

Seeing that the enemy was distracted, the Sailor that they recognized as Sailor Pluto whispered, “Dead Scream.”  She used her staff to create a ball of energy that looked like her planet and fired it at the gem, shattering it to thousands of pieces.

When the hearts of the pink Sailor disappeared, Sorcerra saw the pieces of the gem on the sand.  She raised tail to strike, but was stopped by the blue haired Sailor who gracefully pulled out a mirror and said, “SUBMARINE REFLECTION!”  Light shot out from the mirror, forcing Sorcerra to cover her eyes.  The Sailor looked into the mirror to find the enemy’s weakness.  “Open the scar on her shoulder!”

The last Sailor nodded her head and took out a sword, also known as the Talisman and shouted, “SPACE SWORD BALSTER!!!”  She made a slicing motion with the Talisman, creating an energy blast that struck its target directly.

Sorcerra screamed in pain as smoke began to escape through her scar.  “The Queen will not forget this day.  You have made the biggest mistake of your pitiful lives!”  The smoke engulfed her, and when it finally cleared, all that was left was the blade of her tail, which soon disintegrated.

Sailor Moon and the other Sailors, now free, watched as the new Sailors raised their weapons high in the air.  A light shot out, and headed toward all the lifeless victims.  Sailor Moon turned her head and was surprised to see Luna and Artemis running to them.  In a few seconds, they were in her arms.

“Sailor Moon!” called Mars.  “Look!”

Sailor Moon turned around to see Darien moving.  She ran to him and hugged him as tightly as she could.  “Hey, Serena,” joked Tuxedo Mask.  “I’m not a doll you know.”

“Oh Darien,” she said.  “I’m so glad you’re alright.”  She helped get him to his feet and walked to the Inner Sailors.  Once everyone finished asking if Luna, Artemis, and Darien were OK, they faced the unfamiliar Sailors.

“Pluto,” asked Sailor Moon.  “Who are they?  They’re amazing!”

“They are the Sailors of the Future,” Pluto pointed.  “The one with the Glaive is Sailor Saturn.  The one with the mirror is Sailor Neptune, and the one with the Talisman is Sailor Uranus.  This one here is someone you all know.  She is…”

“Rini?” Sailor Moon interrupted.  “Is that you?”

“You got that right,” she answered.  “MEATBALL HEAD!”

“Oh, Rini.  You’ve grown so much.  How old are you?”

“I’m thirteen, and my Sailor name is Sailor Chibbi Moon.”

“Thirteen?” wondered Jupiter.  “But it’s only been a year since we last saw you.”

“Things go faster in the Future,” Rini replied.

“Not to be rude or anything,” Luna inquired.  “Why exactly are you hear?”

“Ever since you saved the Future,” Pluto explained.  “I’ve been watching you.  When I found you were in danger, I gathered these Sailors and headed here as soon as possible.”

“But I thought you couldn’t leave your post,” said Mercury.  “Who’s watching the Gates of Time?”

“There are three Sailors who did not come,” Pluto said.  “They are new too and are known as the Sailor Stars.  They have been given the responsibility of protecting the kingdom and watching the gate until we return.  Judging by what Sorcerra said before she died, it seems we might not be leaving for a while.”

“Goodness people,” scolded Mars.  “We haven’t even properly introduced ourselves.  Then again… you guys probably already know who we are.  So I’m sorry if I seemed a little…”

“Uptight!” teased Sailor Moon.

“Watch it Meatball Head.”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean it.  So, what are your names?”

Sailor Saturn stepped forward, “I am known as Leaj.”

Sailor Neptune came next, “My name is Krista.”

“Name’s Justine,” voiced Uranus.

“What about you Pluto?” asked Venus.  “We never did get to find out your name.”

“Well, then I shall tell you,” she replied.  “It is Jennifer.”

“Just out of curiosity,” asked Serena.  “How do call us in the future because if you’re going to be staying here for awhile, then you can call us by our first names.  Its also the best way to make friends… right Rini?”  Rini nodded her head.  “Oh, looks like people are starting to regain consciousness.  Let’s change back and resume our R and R, which was so rudely interrupted.  Oh, and I just know this is going to be the start of beautiful friendships.”  Everyone changes back.

“Serena,” Rei said.  “You are so corny.”

“Well,” Serena answered.  “You gotta admit that it was…” She put her hand on her forehead.  “…beautiful.”  Everyone laughs and races to the water.  The new Sailors, except Rini, unaccustomed to their new surroundings decided to follow the others.  Together  Serena, Mina, and Krista, built a six-foot tall sandcastle.  Everyone who saw it was struck with awe.  Darien, Lita, and Justine had surfing contests, and Rei, Ami, and Jennifer let Rini bury them in sand.  Leaj, who sometimes prefers being alone, lay on the sand to get a tan.

They stayed at the beach until it got dark, and then went home to change.  They decided that their new friends should stay with Rei since she had the biggest place.  After they changed, they met in front of the arcade and went to a fast food place near it.  They partied all night and showed Rini and the others all the sights that were still opened.  Serena was right, that day was the beginning of great friendships.
