As some of you know I'm from the Bluegrass state. And for those of you that don't know what the Bluegrass state is, it's Kentucky. Kentucky is a small populated state nestled in the Ohio Valley. Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia make up the border states around Kentucky. 

Kentucky is one of the leading tobacco producing states and everyone knows about the World Famous Kentucky Derby. The Derby is known as the "Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports". For those of you interested in horseracing of The Derby, here is a link to Churchill Downs  

Kentucky also has Cumberland Falls, or the Niagara of the South as it is also called. Cumberland Falls lies between Corbin and Williamsburg. Easily accessible and a pleasant drive down to the Falls makes it an enjoyable scenic trip. The main feature about Cumberland Falls is the Moonbow. On nights when the moon is full and the sky is clear can you see the Moonbow. Lake Victoria in South Africa used to have a Moonbow, but an earthquake put and end to the Moonbow there in the late 1980's leaving Cumberland Falls as the only waterfall in the world that moonbows can be seen at. And of course here in Kentucky we have the "ORIGINAL" KFC. That's right the town I live in has the Original KFC Cafe. It has been restored back to what the original dinner was like in its Golden Days.
