Remarks: his home is ideal for someone who does not have
to commute to work on a daily basis. It is tidy
and well cared for. It has air conditioning and
electric heat. There is a single car detached
garage. The yard is nicely landscaped with a
combination of evergrees,fruit trees,flower beds,
shrubs and a garden. A fridge and stove are
included. The annual taxes are about $600.00

Some ammenities of the town of Eastend include
- school with grades 1 through 12.
- a permanent doctor and a small hospital facility
- there is a large district hospital in Shaunavon
- we have a big new seniors home.
- the retail sector includes 2 grocery stores,3
resturants, pharmacy, hardware and building
supplies, garages, hotel and motel.
- it is a 2:15 drive to Medicine Hat or 1:30 to
Swift Current.
- The weather is similar to Southern Alberta. We
also get the winter chinooks although not a
much wind. Eastend is often the "hot spot" in
Saskatchewan.
