The Dinner was opened at 1830 and eighty three persons were in

After dinner, a fifty-fifty raffle was held and Hobbie Stearns won
the
Bill and Margie Maroulis donated two fifteen pound pieces of meat for a raffle. The lucky ones were Mike Eaton and Lyle Jewell. After the CWOA program the members joined the Officers' Spouses Club at their Auction. It was a great success and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Entertainment Committee wishes to announce the next event for
the CWOA will be a Business Meeting to be held at 1900, 20 May, 1999 at
the Wheel House, ISC, Portsmouth, VA. The menu will be one-half pound of

Also please mark your callendars for the Pig Picking and covered
dish event to be held at the ISC Portsmouth Picnic Grounds. The time of
the event will be 1300 - 1700: WE WILL EAT FROM 1300 UNTIL 1500. As usual
the Club will furnish soft drinks and beer plus hot dogs and hamburgers. Prices for the event are: $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12. Dont forget to bring a covered dish or a surcharge will be made. By popular demand there will be a 50-50 drawing and a raffle. Come try your luck, maybe you will be the big winnder.
