Golden Spawn is a nutritionally complete, semi-moist diet formulated specifically for the maturation of captive shrimp broodstock. Commercial trials have shown that Golden Spawn can replace up to 100% of the marine polychaete ration in the maturation diet as well as Artemia biomass, squid, and other fresh food ingredients. Golden Spawn is also a completely biosecure maturation diet. This semi-moist diet is gamma irradiated in its finished packaging and guaranteed free of pathogenic bacteria and shrimp viruses. No refrigeration is necessary and the shelf life of this diet is indefinite. With a 20-25% moisture content, the pellets have a soft texture for easier ingestion by the shrimp broodstock as well as a high water stability of up to 24 hours. Instructions: Feed at least 5% of the shrimp biomass per 24 hour. Divide the total allotment into 4 or more feedings. Feed as much as the broodstock can consume within 30 minutes for each feeding. Remove or siphon uneaten feed at least once per day. Ingredients: Marine and vegetable proteins, fish oil, vitamin and mineral premix, antioxidants. Analysis: Protein - 50%, Fat - 20%, Ash - 8.5%, Moisture - 20%, Vitamin A - 10,000 IU/kg, Vitamin D3 - 2,500 IU/kg, Vitamin E - 300 ppm, Vitamin K - 10 ppm.
*Minimum order is 5 kilos Storage and Packaging: The product is packed in five kilo buckets. The buckets are hermitically sealed and does not require cold storage. After breaking seal, the remaining feed should be kept under refrigeration and consumed within 30 days. Back to Product List
