use the vsnl.com (Atleast for

My name is Pritam Bhattacharjee and I am also a VSNL man, only much younger in
age and experience than the VSNL-man to whom I write.
I have been working in VSNL, Cochin for the last 4 years and by chance I have
come to see your page.
First of all, it was a grand idea of yours and grander regularity by which you
used to circulate Business News in VSNL local e-Mail system (Banyan Vines). The
news-letter has become a reference where VSNL rocked news headlines and passed
into history's other side of India's economic history.
As for your web-site, I have few comments which I am afraid are not very
flattering:
1. The page is too crowded. More real-estate management is required for the
page.
2. Colour mix is not of very high aesthetic order.
3. Text editing requires some more care.
However, overall quite a packful of information of there.
Since you have got so many photo albums, you can see at http://personal.vsnl.com/syhlleti/voyage2.htm
a sunset-photograph of mine in Central Indian Ocean and will be happy if it
finds a space in one of your albums.
I do not know whether you are interested in travelogues, if yes, please

First of all, this page is a great inspiration for
everyone who tries to understand the spirit and energy of this grandfatherly
young man. The perseverance and willingness to learn at this young age is
simply commendable!
Although the page is originally said to be for VSNL employees, it links every
key aspect - from tickets to Naukri - of a busy urban life and features tastes
& needs of every individual of any age, sex and professional background.
The naïve organisation of the home page does create an impression of
self-effort and is a certificate of originality. For a professional look - if
desired - the page could be rearranged in the feature-blocks such as
entertainment, jobs, music, etc. rather than the individual logos competing
with each other for attention. This could be just a suggestion – different
people may have different views; besides I am not an arts person and neither I
have any experience in page design.
Finally, Mr. Batra, I can only wish to have your kind of spirit and energy in
my Sixties. I can't think of a better compliment!
