A 78-year-old man died Friday afternoon after he was struck by a car in the 3300 block of car seat safety Ingersoll Avenue, authorities said.
Paul Joseph Johnson of Des Moines was hit by a westbound car at about payless rental car 1 p.m. Friday as car gas milage he crossed g log car kits Ingersoll Avenue after he left Jesse's Embers restaurant, police said. The driver of the car was identified as Farida Bachelani, 54, of Des Moines.

The impact threw Johnson g4500s car kit about 20 feet, said Harris, who also called 911.

Johnson was taken to Iowa Methodist Medical Center where he died at 4 p.m. Friday.
Traffic on the busy street was closed off for more than two hours and reopened around 3:30 p.m.
No charges have been filed against Bachelani, car sense but police are still car models investigating.
