Negotiations with the Thennanin on the Terragen initiative to provide a species for a Thennanin-supervised, Nahalli Uplift project, with said supervised-Uplift being successfully completed to level three initiation as the final pre-condition for Nahalli release from indenture, are nearing completion after initial Thennanin hesitancy over such an irregular Uplift arrangement.

The Galactic Uplift Institute has been kept apprised of the progress of these negotiations, and seems to be quite pleased with the emerging form of the proposed program and treaty agreement.  The Nahalli will be given a choice of raccoons/coatimundis and another promising mammalian family --probably hyena.
