Stheee going about business in the Galaxies are usually compressed.  This allows them to use spaces that accomodate species near the first standard deviation of O-2 volume.  Note the anti-gravity harness around the lower part of the Stheee's body.  Compression has led to the viscious rumor that the Soro ignored Uplift Tradition to optimize the Stheee as psionic tools.
