Tandu left, right, and front views.

Note pseudo-head.  This appendage houses the Tandu's primary eyes, visual processing, and organs essential for rapid reactions based on cognition.  The pseudo-head is also features viscious pseudo-mandibles and internal antenae.  Nevertheless, the pseudo-head is not critical to Tandu survival.  Also note immature replacement pseudo-heads posterior to the mature pseudo-head.

Also observe that Tandu have four "hands."  The largest is a display claw where the third element has become a vestigial spike.  A Tandu's display claw is a formidable weapon.  Opposite the display claw is a three-part feeding claw.  Tandu also have two upper arms with hands having three jointed fingers that are suited to grasping and fine manipulation.

Tandu have ten limbs.  Each contains an ear and nose.  Tandu also have a tounge and their primary olfactory sensor located in their mouth, and an acute sense of magnatism produced by an internal organ.  The teeth located in a Tandu's mouth are shark-like --razor sharp, serrated, with rows of replacements waiting in reserve.
