Goldwaite Desert Research Station, Deemi

The Goldwaite Desert Research Station is located on a remote bay on Deemi.  The Terragen Confederation research station supports ecological rehabilitation and biological research.  In addition to research on arid, ultaviolet saturated ecologies, the Station also supports and sponsors oceanographic research.  About 75 staff are permanently assigned to the Center, and at any time at least 100 visiting scholars and students are in residence.

Note the extensive use of standard hexagonal "wolf" crates in the Station's construction.  Other items of note are the primative facilities for winged air travel, the pier for water borne vessels, and the internal road system.

The Terragen Confederation Department of Biosphere Reclaimation and Terraforming and the Tg.C. Academy of Sciences provide major funding for the Station.
