The TgAASF Lancelet is pictured in profile. Lamprey class sneak ships were donated to the Tg Confederation by the Synthians from obsolete fleet assets. The forward concavity is the location of sensors and primary weaponry. Asymetry allows the ship to be rotated relative to a known threat to offer the most advantageous profile. The overall streamlined shape is designed to minimize disruption of the pseudo-fluid D-level and A-level hyperspace media. A forward bulge helps hide the thruster signature during an attack run. The thrusters themselves are "muffled."

The Lancet is assigned to the Alien Corps. It has a distigushed service history in both the Seige of Earth and in the Calafia War.

The rear thruster array is active because the ship is maneuvering in normal space.
