Seafood quiche squares
Ingredients:
2(8 oz) croissant dough
1 cup Swiss cheese
1 cup sharp Cheddar
6 oz cooked shrimp
6 oz crabmeat
1 3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp hot pepper ( Tabasco sauce)
6 eggs beaten
chopped parsley
Directions: Unroll dough into 4 large rectangles. Place crosswise in not greased 15x10 jelly pan. Press over the bottom and 1 inch up the sides to form crust. Firmly press the perforations to seal. Bake at 400F for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle partially baked crust with cheeses, shrimp and crabmeat. In large bowl combine half and half, dry mustard, Worcestershire , hot pepper and eggs. Mix well and pour over ingredients in the pan; sprinkle with parsley. Bake for an additional 25 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean and edges are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Cut into squares. Garnish, and serve warm. Makes 60 appetizers.
